Gary Eikenberry Consulting
has worked with not-for-profits, small businesses, professional practices and sports and fitness organizations and businesses since 1990, developing creative networking, database, Internet and IT solutions and support strategies scaled to their requirements and resources. We offer a cost-effective alternative to organizations whose size and budget can't support an in-house IT staff.
As well as a solid adult education and IT background, owner and principal consultant, Gary Eikenberry has extensive experience in the voluntary, not-for-profit and professional association sectors. He has served in senior staff positions and as a volunteer, committee, board and executive member for local, provincial and national organizations.
Over time our client list and resource base have grown significantly, as has the range of services we offer. Internet and intranet applications have become increasingly significant as we work with our clients to leverage the power of the Net in areas like interactive on-line databases, custom electronic commerce, private cloud and other web applications for on-line collaboration, information gathering and management, conducting virtual meetings and more.
Our time-tested expertise in developing affordable custom internet and intranet e-commerce solutions, membership, contact, inventory and other database systems, reference and document sharing repositories and other data-driven applications has extended our reach beyond the national capital region and Canada, but we haven't forsaken our home base or our custom database development, network and IT integration, support and training roots and continue to provide these and related services to long standing and new clients.
Although we prefer to work with you to design and build the ideal solution from the ground up, we also have extensive experience in rehabilitating, fine tuning and supporting existing:
- Database and data management strategies, applications and tools
- Web applications (Internet or intranet)
- Mixed and cross-platform computing environments, including Windows, Linux, OS-X, iOS and Android
as well as providing
- On-call and on-site systems and network support
- Remote access and telecommuting options
- Local area network design, management, upgrading and support
- On-site or remote server maintenance and management
